DVR to provide modified services
Online eligibility application remains available

(Santa Fe, NM) – Under Governor Lujan Grisham’s social distancing directive in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, starting today the New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) field offices will be closed.

While physical access to our statewide vocational rehabilitation offices is suspended, services will be modified to continue to meet the needs of people with disabilities. Counselors and staff will be working remotely to provide services by phone, email, online and virtually through web conferences.

Referrals can continue to be submitted on our website at https://referral.dvr.nm.gov/. Offices have posted signs indicating 800 numbers that can be accessed 24-hours-a-day. A list of these numbers is on our website at http://www.dvr.state.nm.us/locations-contact-us.aspx.

DVR recognizes the extraordinary circumstances we are facing related to the growing concern about COVID-19. DVR is deeply concerned for the health and well-being of the public, vocational rehabilitation staff, and adults and children with disabilities in New Mexico. Anyone needing to contact the New Mexico Department of Health COVID-19 hotline should call 1-855-600-3453.

Additional information about services for individuals with disabilities and DVR is available on our website at http://www.dvr.state.nm.us/.
