Kendra brings 25 years of Information Technology (IT) management experience, including 15 years of IT Department oversight spanning the state of New Mexico, workers’ compensation insurance, and manufacturing industries.

Kendra is a former CIO for the NM Public School Facilities Authority, where she effectively applied her IT vision on behalf of the agency. Later a member of DoIT’s senior management team, Kendra was the Director for the State Office of Broadband and Geospatial Initiatives. She helped the company strengthen its IT infrastructure and systems plant-wide to streamline processes and increase productivity. Her professional experience also includes 14 years at Builders Trust of NM, a self-insured fund for workers’ compensation insurance. She spent a decade overseeing the fund’s IT Department while specializing in the Tropics suite of work comp systems and unit stat reporting for the National Council on Compensation Insurance.

Kendra also managed Java programmers and software development projects for New Mexico Mutual, the state’s largest workers’ compensation insurance carrier.
