Nash Sisneros
RSU Deputy Director

Nash Sisneros currently serves as the Rehabilitation Services Unit (RSU) Deputy Director at the New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Ms. Sisneros oversees NMDVR’s programmatic operations for RSU statewide. She has served people with disabilities for more than 30 years—more than 20 of those years with NMDVR. Her professional rehabilitation roles have included experience as Field Operations Director, Program Manager, and Rehabilitation Counselor with the division.

Nash earned a Master of Guidance & Counseling from New Mexico Highlands University and a Bachelor of Psychology-Counselor Education and Sociology-Gerontology from Adams State College. She is a licensed mental health counselor, clinically certified forensics counselor, a K-12 rehabilitation counselor, and a K-12 school counselor.

A single full-time parent of seven adopted children, Nash enjoys church and faith as much as the outdoors. One of her favorite quotes is by Maya Angelou: “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
