How Do I Begin?

Any person with a disability that lives in New Mexico may apply for NMDVR services.

Apply for services by starting the referral process or contact the office nearest you. Staff will schedule you for your first meeting, an “Orientation” to NMDVR, at the office where you applied.

The rehabilitation process consists of the following:

1. Orientation
2. Application
3. Eligibility Determination
4. Comprehensive Assessment
   
5. Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE)
   
6. Employment Services Provided – Training and Other Services
   
7. Employment Obtained / Closure – Successfully Employed – Closure
